    Overview

    Dynamixel RX-28RX-28
    The RX-28 is a powerful smart actuator that packs 523.3 oz-in (37.3 kg-cm) of torque from a precision Maxon RE-MAX DC motor. The intelligent control hardware reports position , temperature, load, & input voltage. The RX series actuator has an extensive command set that allows synchronized movements of up to 254 units on a single RS-485 bus.

    Precision Control

    1024 units of position, speed, and torque resolution.

    Feedback
    Angular position, angular velocity, input voltage, and torque feedback.

    Alarm System
    Alert the user or automatically shutdown when internal temperature, torque, or voltage parameters deviate from defined ranges.

    Communication
    The RS-485 bus supports communication speeds up to 1M bps.

    Distributed Control
    Control multiple RX-28 parameters with a single command packet.

    Material
    All metal gearing with an aluminum servo arm.

    Status LED
    Report errors to the user or troubleshoot bus connectively.
