Do you need legs for a custom robotics project?

CrustCrawler leg kits are an established out-of-the-box alternative to manufacturing your own robotic legs. These 3 degrees of freedom, 3 servos-leg kits are the same design found on our Nomad HDATS and Hexcrawler HDATS Robotic kits. They offer robot enthusiasts advanced design and adjustable versatility.

The servo hinge bracket provides easy mounting to any frame. Each servo hinge bracket has 4/40" mounting holes located on the top, side, and bottom of the bracket. Two leg assemblies can attach to each other (see pictures) or attach to any frame through the 4/40" holes. This designed flexibility is what makes our 3DOF and 2DOF legs kits adaptable to any robotic project!

Do not simply pick the cheapest or the most expensive servos. Figure out what you need for your project keeping in mind any extra weight you might need to carry payloads such as batteries, electronics and added hardware.

Servo Power Supply
This transformer is highly recommended for supplying continuous servo power (6Vdc 4A) without the worry of constantly re-charging a battery pack. It comes with a male adaptor plug which can be mounted to your project making power connections easy. Just plug it in!
